Role Description: The Field Quality Control Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Lebanon, PA, responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet company standards and project specifications. This role oversees quality control inspections, verifies compliance with building codes, and documents field conditions and corrective actions. The manager coordinates with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and inspectors to address deficiencies, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement. Daily tasks include reviewing plans and submittals, performing site walkthroughs, monitoring workmanship and materials, and preparing detailed quality reports. The role also supports safety initiatives, participates in progress meetings, and helps refine processes aligned with Bridger Construction’s standardized building model.
Qualifications
Field construction management and quality assurance skills, including experience overseeing work on active job sites and enforcing quality standards.
Knowledge of building codes, industry best practices, and inspection procedures, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and inspectors.
Organizational and documentation skills for maintaining inspection records, punch lists, reports, and project quality documentation.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify issues early, recommend practical solutions, and support timely project delivery.
Proficiency with basic construction software, digital reporting tools, and Microsoft Office or similar applications.
Experience in construction quality control or supervision; prior work with general contractors is preferred.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Lebanon, PA, and general activities of standing, and walking throughout active construction areas.
Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and maintaining Bridger Construction’s standards for consistency and customer satisfaction.
Will be required to obtain CQM for contractors, OSHA 30, and EM-385 certifications
